You must have broken your tenancy agreement to have paid to leave? Surely it's common sense you can't get your friends to move in and get your deposit back in one go? Did your friends have to wait until you had done an inventory for damages before they could move?! Sounds pretty normal to me? ...

I wish I had seen this before I entered into a letting with Martin and co. I really feel sorry for the owners of the property I am letting. The supposed inventory inspector obviously missed a number of key items. 1) They could have advanced knowledge of the property they were trying to sell, which would have made them seem less incompetent. 2) They need to be more professional 3) They need to be polite and not rude 4) they need to allow time for viewings, or address the reasons they double booked us I will never use Martin & Co Chelmsford fin the future and would discourage anyone from using their services.

Absolutely awful, I would avoid Chelmsford Martin & Co at all costs. The whole process, which should have been relatively simple, has been a complete mess. During the time they were in contact with me, I have spoken to at least 5 different members of the team, who I have to explain my problems too all over again, it would seem there is no communication within their team. I should have read the early warning signs when the property was first advertised incorrectly on the Martin & Co website and ...

No fees information available
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.

Complaints Procedure

We are registered with the Property Ombudsman redress system. But more important, you can call the Director Eduardo Prato directly on his mobile, day or night, if at any point you're not completely satisfied with our service.
