This is the worst management company we have ever had the misfortune to deal with. The staff never give their names, never call back and never have any record of any complaints that have been registered. They never turn up for inspections or viewings when they were arranged and then expected us to be there with no prior arrangement.
We rented a house in Ockbrook off MBM.
The house was in a terrible state (mice & damp) with mould everywhere and we were told to "clean more and use bleach"!!! The heating was very inadequate in 3 rooms and the hall way, when we asked for the heating to be checked out we were told it wasn\'t due to be tested yet and, that we had to maintain a temp of 12C minimum. It was not possible to get the heating up that high! MBM never told us about the rodent problem that had been ongoing. The previous tenants had been informed that the problems would be fixed when they moved in too.
They are now trying to claim our deposit to have the repairs done that needed doing when we moved in.
What agent could do to change your mind?
property should have been cleaned before we moved in, decoration is very poor. Staff are rude and slam phone down. Staff should give their names and keep to appointments It is not normal to have to clean doors, walls, windows etc every day due to the huge build up of mould. When staff say \"they\'ve made a note of something\" they should probably do so and not pretend something was never reported.
