We have just bought our first residential property in the UK and were very impressed with Helmores. James Fyfe was excellent in pushing through the sale, and chasing up 'the chain' to find out what was delaying exchange of contracts. He was very approachable and acted promptly regarding all my queries. I would definitely recommend James if you are looking for a competent, knowledgeable agent.
The only thing we found frustrating was the 'offers in excess of' price range. This was slightly frustrating as our vendors wanted £10,000 over the advertised 'in excess of' price. I would rather the price had stated this in the first place, to avoid haggling.

Covid 19 struck the UK in March 2020, the initial damp was reported in January 2019, and it took till October 2019 to carry out any inspection. A report was passed to Helmores shortly after this in early November 2019. Sadly, the landlords wife did pass also in March 2020. So both incidents you mentioned occurred 14 months after the damp was raised & 5 months after the report.
