This was by far the most challenging and stressful house sale I have experienced in over 25yrs as a homeowner. James and Jonathan were excellent, experienced and professional, navigating me through, what were at times, exceptionally frustrating and difficult times, always offering sound advice and guidance. Covid 19 struck the UK in March 2020, the initial damp was reported in January 2019, and it took till October 2019 to carry out any inspection. A report was passed to Helmores shortly after this in early November 2019. Sadly, the landlords wife did pass also in March 2020. So both incidents you mentioned occurred 14 months after the damp was raised & 5 months after the report.
