When we first wished to view some properties with Riley Marshall they were great, but after picking and moving in to a property they have really let us down.
The agent was helpful in arranging viewings. Once we\'d seen some he was really helpful in answering questions we had and always answered his phone or called back. This was particulary good as we were new to renting and the agent wasable to explain many processes to us. However, when we showed interest in the property we have now moved in to, the agent did get a little pushy and rang/chased us up a bit too much. Once decided everything went OK - we moved in quickly and so forms/contratcs etc werer passed to us quickly.
We were assured that we would receive a \'pack\' from Riley Marshall when we moved in - one month later this hasn\'t materialised. This was supposed to inform us of the utilities providers, explain how the heating works etc. We\'re not sure if this has been forgotton or if we were lied to about getting this.
Anyway, we found out from our landlord that it doesn\'t matter who the providers are as she wants to pay our bills and has arranged electricity, water etc. Riley Marshall didn\'t inform us that our bills we being paid by the landlord. This would have made our decision to pick our flat very much easier if they had.
Since signing the contract Riley Marshall have not shown an interest in us and have only spoken to us hen we called them. This has really dampened our experience of working with them. If possible we wouldn\'t go through Riley Marshall again, only if we really liked a property. But hopefully we won\'t have to.
What agent could do to change your mind?
