Below is a transcript of the \'thank you\' mail I wrote on Jon\'s behalf to his manager, in reflection of the excellent service we received from him:

Dear sir or madam,

I am writing this email to provide some feedback on the service received from Riley Marshall properties in our recent search for a new flat, and to commend Jon Acland in his efforts. I originally contacted Jon about another property which had gone (due to a technical error on the Zoopla website), but found him easy to talk to, and after telling him our requirements for a flat he recommended to us the property of xxxx xxxx in Canada Water, being open and direct about the property\'s unique attributes from the beginning. When our offer was being considered, he kept us up-to-date on his efforts to secure it throughout the day and despite this ultimately falling through we felt that Jon and the team at Riley Marshall did their utmost to win the property for us, and were happy to continue using your services to continue our search.

We also felt from our dealings with him that Jon knew our tastes and what we were after quite well, and asked him to provide us with a shortlist of properties. He gave us a range of options, and despite a restrictive schedule for the both of us he was willing to work around us and accommodate our requirements. We met Jon a second time on Thursday and once again found his demeanour to be professional, open and direct about a property\'s good and bad points, and knowledgeable on the areas we were shown around as well. We decided on a property in the Silkworks building, and once again Jon was very responsive in pushing through the paperwork to ensure we secured the flat. We moved in yesterday and are both extremely happy with our new home.

I write this email so that Jon\'s professionalism, insight and salesmanship can be recognised. We have met a number of estate agents over the past few weeks and our experience has been overwhelmingly negative, with many such professionals being dull and uninterested, uncommunicative about the property or lacking in knowledge about the area, or in a few cases outright rude, which is why dealing with Jon has been a welcome relief. I can say with certainty that his salesmanship and good humour made us happy to return to Riley Marshall despite our first property failing, and ultimately secured us our current residence, and we would be happy to do business with him and your company again in future.
