We have the weekly property email from Helmores and finally found one for us. After looking for rental property and ringing many agents, half of them who never call back....Helmores rang and also emailed to say they would book us a viewing when the tentants had left.
After email conversations with Mike Theirens we finally met him a few weeks later at the property we wished to let. Due to being new to the area and starting up a business he did all he could to help us get the property and we cannot thank him enough and the other staff during the process.

Covid 19 struck the UK in March 2020, the initial damp was reported in January 2019, and it took till October 2019 to carry out any inspection. A report was passed to Helmores shortly after this in early November 2019. Sadly, the landlords wife did pass also in March 2020. So both incidents you mentioned occurred 14 months after the damp was raised & 5 months after the report.
