Helmores have been fantastic with our recent move. We saw a house we liked and obviously arranged a viewing as soon as possible, and Helmores were able to fit us in on short notice. Whenever I've called I've always gotten through to someone who was willing to help and passed on my enquiry.
We dealt with Gill for our tenancy agreement. She was very helpful and always got back to us with any queries we had. I never had to chase up an answer. When we signed our tenancy agreement, everything was explained to us and we were able to take away a nice pack of information for our new rental.
We've only been in the property for a few weeks, and already I can sense that if anything were to go wrong, we would have no problems contacting Helmores to get things rectified. They genuinely seem to care about whether or not we enjoy our house. Thanks for making a stressful time a little more manageable for us!

Comment on agent fees
Agents fees were in line with what we were expecting - it did help us out that we weren't charged referencing fees until we had actually been accepted by the landlord, unlike some other places.

Covid 19 struck the UK in March 2020, the initial damp was reported in January 2019, and it took till October 2019 to carry out any inspection. A report was passed to Helmores shortly after this in early November 2019. Sadly, the landlords wife did pass also in March 2020. So both incidents you mentioned occurred 14 months after the damp was raised & 5 months after the report.
