Can\'t remember the name of the young lad we delt with but found him to be very rude and unhelpful from the point of taking our money. We rented a property through Start & Co and they made all sorts of promises about the property with regard to repairs including a serious damp problem that were never carried out. As soon as we handed over £2000 we seemed to be unable to get hold of the agent and none of our calls were returned. The house was filthy when we moved in, there was food all over the cooker, the bathroom was full of mold and everything was dirty. Work that was supposed to be done before we moved in was still being carried out. We were not notified about this when we were handed the key, but found out on moving into the property. From recieving the key it took us 5 days to get hold of the agent even after leaving several messages with coleagues. By this time we had spent 2 days scrubbing the property to a standard that we thought was acceptable. When we did actually get hold of the agent he was extremly rude and unhelpfull. Would NEVER use Start & Co again.
What agent could do to change your mind?
They have a serious lack of customer service. Will say or do anything up untill the point where they have your money.
