To say I am disappointed with Start&co would be an understatement. I have been treated completely unfairly by them, each and every time I have required about or asked to view a property I have always been told âwe will ring you backâ and they have never done so when I am quite urgently looking for a property to let. After calling them back myself on numerous occasions (after weeks of waiting to be called back) they have made me feel that I am being a nuisance and hassling them in the tone and language they have used towards me. I feel that they simply do not care and are only interested in people buying properties as it would benefit them more financially. I really do not understand what they are gaining from this apart from a very, very bad reputation. I could not possibly specify one person as they refuse to provide their name and every person who has answered the phone has been absolutely useless. I would almost go as far as saying I feel discriminated due to my younger age, they will not answer any questions until I have told them my name in which they will use to look at my tenant application form, they are simply not taking me seriously. I have to say this is not the first time this has happened as I have friends and have read from previous reviews that many others are having the same issues. I am very upset and disappointed at this. It is always difficult to comment on reviews from anonymous submissions but I am sorry that you have not had a positive experience. Unfortunately, not all tenants are suitable for all of our landlords and properties, and we do have a duty to ensure that all tenants are properly vetted and approved. We do work hard to ensure that our applicants are kept well informed throughout the process, but unfortunately cannot comment on this actual case as we do not know the circumstances or applicant details.
