Me and my partner were purchasing our first ever property through Helmores and they really did keep us up to date with everything and helped guide us through the process. The only thing I would say could be improved is receiving answers to questions, as we did not get an answer on one thing until we were near to exchanging.

Covid 19 struck the UK in March 2020, the initial damp was reported in January 2019, and it took till October 2019 to carry out any inspection. A report was passed to Helmores shortly after this in early November 2019. Sadly, the landlords wife did pass also in March 2020. So both incidents you mentioned occurred 14 months after the damp was raised & 5 months after the report.
