From start to finish Helmores have been fantastic, and we have been impressed by the professionalism of everyone in the team. Ian assessed our property for market and gave us great confidence in Helmores- his valuation matched other agents and proved to be spot on. The process of getting our house on the market was quick and efficient, and the particulars produced we very accurate and positive. We had viewings in the first few days and had strong offers in less than a week. James conducted all the negotiations on our behalf with considerable knowledge and expertise and we were delighted with the outcome. Communication with Helmores was always easy- phone calls are responded to promptly and we felt very much that we were being kept informed at all stages. Nothing was too much trouble. Having moved 6 times Helmores stand clear as the best estate agents we have dealt with.
Comment on agent fees
The fees we were charged were marginally less than the other quote we obtained. As such we consider the fees were competitive.

Covid 19 struck the UK in March 2020, the initial damp was reported in January 2019, and it took till October 2019 to carry out any inspection. A report was passed to Helmores shortly after this in early November 2019. Sadly, the landlords wife did pass also in March 2020. So both incidents you mentioned occurred 14 months after the damp was raised & 5 months after the report.
