Having used several Estate Agents in recent years, we have found that Helmores are the best in the mid Devon area. We sold and bought with Helmores and found that they were very helpful in both situations. Communications are really excellent, and we have been especially impressed by Rona Haggerty.
We would not recommend the system of 'Offers Over' when selling as we think it confuses buyers and has a negative effect on the process of viewing and selling, however, that is the only negative point that we would make.

Covid 19 struck the UK in March 2020, the initial damp was reported in January 2019, and it took till October 2019 to carry out any inspection. A report was passed to Helmores shortly after this in early November 2019. Sadly, the landlords wife did pass also in March 2020. So both incidents you mentioned occurred 14 months after the damp was raised & 5 months after the report.
