Just completed on the purchase of property through Helmores. From acceptance of my offer through to collecting the keys, they were very good keeping me up do date with progress in conjunction with my solicitors. In the latter stages of the process, the vendors and their solicitors were less than efficient but my contact at Helmores, Amy was excellent in chasing them up and promptly returning my e-mails and phone calls to keep me in the picture. Quite a change from some of the people and companies I deal with so it was a real pleasure to liaise with someone reliable, knowledgable and efficient. What impressed me as well was that this service and attitude appears to be a constant throughout company.

Covid 19 struck the UK in March 2020, the initial damp was reported in January 2019, and it took till October 2019 to carry out any inspection. A report was passed to Helmores shortly after this in early November 2019. Sadly, the landlords wife did pass also in March 2020. So both incidents you mentioned occurred 14 months after the damp was raised & 5 months after the report.
