Very good service from Helmores when buying this property, they were of course acting for the seller. I did feel slightly pressured at times and felt they could have contacted my solicitor first before phoning me to find out how things were progressing, but overall were very friendly, always helpful and would definitely use them if I was selling a property!

Covid 19 struck the UK in March 2020, the initial damp was reported in January 2019, and it took till October 2019 to carry out any inspection. A report was passed to Helmores shortly after this in early November 2019. Sadly, the landlords wife did pass also in March 2020. So both incidents you mentioned occurred 14 months after the damp was raised & 5 months after the report.
