The purchase of the house became quite complicated, because it was Grade II listed, and Ian patiently helped us to work through the issues. He was also especially helpful with local knowledge about builders, electricians and so on, and this was really valuable to move the purchase to final completion. Other members of staff were also friendly and helpful and responded quickly to questions.

Covid 19 struck the UK in March 2020, the initial damp was reported in January 2019, and it took till October 2019 to carry out any inspection. A report was passed to Helmores shortly after this in early November 2019. Sadly, the landlords wife did pass also in March 2020. So both incidents you mentioned occurred 14 months after the damp was raised & 5 months after the report.
