Since I let my flat with Streets Ahead I have received consistently poor customer service. On the sales front SA are good, they found a tenant for my flat quickly and the tenant was reliable. However, after letting the flat everything from there has been downhill. They supplied my tenant with the wrong keys when they came to move in, when we came to ending the tenancy (because I was selling the flat), it became apparent that the check-in questionnaire had been lost. Though in our case thankfully this was not the end of the world - this could have caused a real problem if the tenant had damaged the flat. During the tenancy I chased on a large number of occasions for the promised reports of the periodic checks on the state of repair of the property. I didn't receive a single one in the 18 months I let the flat with Streets Ahead and I think its probably the case that none was ever carried out. Generally I find that everyone at streets ahead is personable and polite, but that unless you chase repeatedly to get things done then they just don't happen. In particular I found that telephone messages left by phone are never returned and simple tasks (like getting a client statement for tax purposes) take several weeks and numerous chasing phone calls to complete. The only time I needed Streets Ahead to arrange any work at the property, it was apparent that the properly manager didn't know what to do, and didn't have anyone supervising them who did - so it became a right faff, especially as I don't live in the area. All in all, a poor service.
