IMPORTANT,PLEASE read this review!
I am a landlord and have been renting my flat out through G1 for about 1 year.
G1 Property group as far as I can tell have gone out of business!
They have stolen money and deposits from a number of people, I am in the process of reporting them to the trading standards.
The company started ignoring my calls and emails around 2 months ago.
They have kept the last 2 months rent and have not paid a penny of it into my account.
They lied to me and said the tennents deposit and been placed into a scheme, they did NOT do this and have stolen the tennents deposit.
Dylan Short is a con man and with some research on the web realised he has been running cons for many years.
From the address given for G1 letting(221 west george street, Glasgow) he has several business operating from here.
Please if anyone else has had the same experience, leave the review here for everyone to see.
I hope no-one else gets ripped off by this company!!!

What agent could do to change your mind?
NO, Stole my money Lied about placing the deposit in a safe scheme. Never paid rent on the correct date. Didn't answer calls or emails. Dylan Short was rude and arrogant, (the one time he did answer the phone from 100+ calls)Attached Filesnbsp;

They could have responded to my email, answered the phone, paid my rent on time, returned the deposit to my tenant. Being polite and non patronising on the the phone and told the truth.Attached Filesnbsp;

What agent could do to change your mind?
Do not breach your own Property Letting and Management Agreement . Be open, honest and professional. Do not withhold rental money owed to the landlord. Do not pay with cheques that are returned unpaid. Keep and update records of payments made and received. Issue and date receipts. Issues accurate monthly statements. Communicate with both the tenant and landlord when requested to do so. Give access to your office, during normal office hours at least. Deal with deposits as Scottish law now dictates. Do not lie. Do not ignore request for information. Communicate when asked to do so.Attached Filesnbsp;

I am in the same predicament at the moment, after months of chasing ( any response ) I have just received a letter today stating that " due to difficult trading conditions " the company is no longer able to trade.
This letter is clearly a generic letter that Dylan didn't even have the decency to sign himself.
I am now considering whether to try and take this to the small claims courts as I have lost several months rent.
Please avoid dealing with Dylan Short at all costs.
