We used Satchells earlier this year to market our house
Satchells were recommended to us from a friend and from the start we had nothing but hassle
We arranged a meeting with Mark the manager for valuation and agreements etc , Mark took all details from us and things went wrong from us signing on the dotted line
Satchells advertised our house as Leasehold rather than Freehold ( this took 7 days to change all advertising - Rightmove . Local paper etc )
Mark then left Satchells two days after , then another young lad took the Managers role , one week later he'd left Satchells - so in the space of 2 weeks a major advertising error had occurred and two managers had left the company
We when then left with the females of the Biggleswade branch that in my opinion ( and I am female ) were very un- interested and un organised
For example on a Sunday lunch time I received a call to say we had a viewing on our property and he would be with us in TEN minutes , as I was on the phone a guy knocked on my door - this did not impress my husband nor me for various reasons but mainly as a young female in my own home with a stranger
Satchells to us may talk the talk but certainly cannot perform , I would not recommend this company
