Recently purchased a house through Satchells, complete disaster from start to finish. Too many problems to list but here are a few; Satchells didn't want us having the property as there was another couple interested who were also selling through Satchells, so told us numerous lies to put us off, including that the property above the one we wanted wouldn't be built until at least Christmas (it was on track for September). Satchells tried to put us off of viewings and were very late when we did have a viewing. I received a letter in the post (a legal document!) saying my offer was accepted, but Satchells sold the property to the other interested couple without even telling us. That fell through and after another battle we finally got an offer accepted, but we had to go in to the office to ask for answers regarding our offer as they weren't getting back to us, Megan told us we should stand on the street outside the shop as her phone calls were confidential! We refused as we had been asking for Satchells for an answer on our offers for a week but they had been stalling trying to get the Satchells couple back on board. Grace was also in the office and was giving us dirty looks and muttering under her breath to us. The staff were extremely rude throughout the entire process. Finally came exchange day, more errors on Satchells side meant we couldn't exchange and we couldn't have the initial agreed moving date. Satchells lied and said it was all down to Thomas Morris and not Satchells... the solicitors said otherwise!! I don't understand how this agent are still in business!
