I first contacted this company on Feb 13th, to look at a property in Kinross. I explained to Dawn and Mark that this 4 bed property was for myself and husband. I viewed the property on the 14th feb and fell in love with it as it was exactly what we wanted. We returned to the property for a second viewing on the 18th and informed Dawn that we wanted to proceed.that afternoon Dawn came to my daughter's home to fill out the paperwork, whilst my husband was out of the room Dawn said that both her and the owner had concern as to my cleaning of the home, ( I have a disability in which I use a stick to walk) I informed Dawn that this would not be a problem and if it was I would hire a cleaner. Dawn then took our application, bank statements and reference letter and said that she would get Mark to email their bank details on Monday 20th feb for us to transfer the monies they required to proceed with the application. After several emails, phone calls to them and also to Dawn's mobile no emails or calls had been returned. On Tuesday 21st feb I tried calling the office but they would not pick up, my son called from his mobile and they picked up straight away!!. I then spoke with mark at 11.35 who informed me that Dawn would call right back, Dawn called back at 1.15. When I asked Dawn what was going on she informed me that the owners had decided not to let to us as they felt the house was to big just for us and that Dawn and the owners were worried as to how I was going to keep this house clean.I informed Dawn that I required all the paperwork back including the application, I was told by Dawn that she would not return the application forms. I then called her again on the 24th to find out why I had not received my paperwork back and was told by Mark that Dawn would have to get it together. I then emailed her on the 1st march and asked for the paperwork to be returned and she had 5 days to do so. As of today 8th march they have not replied to our email or returned the paperwork. All the paperwork has our details on it ie date of birth and NI numbers on it plus our passport numbers. This company has no right to keep our information. I WILL NOT recommend this company to family or friends, I am disgusted at the way we have been treated by this company and also by the owners who feel they have the right to be judge and jury over a person's disability, or that a house is to big for two people and how a person is going to be able to keep the property clean. My only choice is now to visit LA Lettings to get back my paperwork.

If she's not bankrupt, she will be soon enough, so civil proceedings for breach of contract are probably not worth the effort.
