We're paying 10% a month for the property to be fully managed. We're abroad and don't want to have to worry about the tenants or property. Happy so far, but whether we consider ourselves happy to pay 10% in the long run will depend on whether we have any issues further down the line!

Tenant Fees

Tenant Fees and Permitted Payments

* Holding deposits - a maximum of 1 week’s rent

* Deposits - a maximum deposit of 5 week’s rent for annual rent below £50,000, or 6 week’s rent for annual rental of £50,000 and above

* Payments for a Variation or Change to a tenancy agreement - £50 inclusive of VAT

* Payments associated with early termination of a tenancy – capped at the landlord’s loss or the agent’s reasonably incurred costs

* Utilities, communication services ( e.g. telephone, broadband) TV licence, council tax

* Interest payments for the late payment of rent – can be charged up to 3% over the Bank of England base rate

* Reasonable costs for the replacement f lost keys or other security devices.
