'Secured the property' meaning you put a padlock on the door that was easily kicked in during the break in? A padlock which we had to secure as your contractor put on such poor, weak screws? I remember making multiple phone calls pleading to speed this up as we felt so unsafe and exposed. You might think thats' a reasonable time frame but we did not. Maybe next time consider your tenants safety if they are pleading to you. It was not out of your hands to move us out the property until a new door could be fitted.
Your contractors are your responsibility. You hire them so if they turn off the electrics or miss inform the council, that's on you.
The reason you tried to get so much money out of our deposit was because you completed the inspection. Happy Lets tried to make more money for their landlord on cleaning that didn't need doing. Yes we settled the dispute because Happy Lets finally realised we were not going to pay your ridiculous demands.
