We have been using Acorn as a letting Agent for 10 months as a landlord with a single property in the London area. A tenant was found very quickly, and passed all the tests well. So far, touch wood, that tenant has been very satisfactory, and paid the rent on time. We were allocated Kathleen Milne as our single point of agency contact, and we deal with everything through her. She is quick efficient, polite and we are very satisfied with the service she gives us. Having a single point of contact to deal with is very important, and not common with other agents in our experience. Statements of account come by email every month within a few days of the rent being paid, and the money goes into our account a few days later. The 6 month inspection was thorough, professional and the report well presented with many photographs. In our experience, the quality of service will depend on the person giving it, rather than the Agency as a whole, so experiences of other clients may vary according to who is dealing with their account.
