On my first appointment I tried to ring the negotiator I was dealing with to advise them I\'d be a few minutes late and also to get directions to the office. Rang both the person\'s mobile and office number, no answer.
Finally found our way and receptionist asked us to sit down as my negotiator was with other customers. We sat for over 40mins and watched her customers leave and while she disappeared to the back at which point I got up and inquired as to what\'s going on, only to find out that she did not even know that I had been in the office for close to an hr now.
She advised me she now cannot take me to my viewings, obviously angry as I\'d just trekked an hr from east London to west london for this appointment I asked for headoffices number, she disappeared to the back again. I waited and another of her colleagues had to ask if I was ok. Now furious I asked to see the manager, they presented me with someone that was NOT even the manager who promised that someone else will now take me for the viewings and will also drop me off in Hammersmith as I am now an hr late.
About to get into the car the negotiator that took us on our viewings told me that she CANNOT take me to where her \'manager\' had said was not a problem.
Took the flat (not because I appreciated their service but cause I liked the flat)
My negotiator went away on holiday and I was left to deal with the actual manager now who never picks up his phone or returns calls!
AND to top it off the flat was completely empty when I arrived, everything had been taken away, including curtains! (which ok to be fair I did not ask whether the flat was furnished at the time of viewing) plus the sound proofing is horrendous and I might as well be sleeping on the pavement next to the road!
So to be quite frank, that was a complete rip off of agency fees cause I don\'t really know what they had got right at all on this occasion!
What agent could do to change your mind?
-could have greeted me and made me aware she\'ll be with me shortly
-divert personal office phones back to main reception
-Pick up calls or at least return them
