We have recently started renting a property with streets ahead and all we can say is that we are VERY disappointed with the customer service provided throughout the whole process. The agent that showed us the property and organised things was helpful but it was the other departments didn't make us enjoy this experience.
Our build up to the move in was extremely stressful as 4 days before we were due to be moved in they told us the move in date was incorrect so we have to pay cancellation fees to change our delivery dates. In addition to this inconvenience the person I spoke to on the phone showed no remorse and actually giggled when expressed my dissatisfaction to her. During this stressful week of date changing they also requested more documents which was at a very late stage in the process and could have asked for them weeks before. Then it took the department 3 times to send out the correct tenancy agreement as the first 2 had errors as little as the wrong date on. When we finally got the keys the property was NOT clean I asked the prgressor if it was supposed to be professionally cleaned and she said she will get someone to call me back- I never received this call back.
To top off the unorganisation she forgot to send out the property managemet details so I only received them when I needed to contact them.
On a whole the experience was bad and I would not recommend the agency.
Comment on agent fees
I didn’t feel over the moon paying agency fee’s since I wasn’t happy with the service they provided to me.

I am really sorry to hear that you have had such a bad experience with Streets Ahead as we strive on giving the best customer service to all of our clients. I unfortunately can not locate any information with regards to your move so if you can contact me or pop into the office we will make sure we get to the bottom of what exactly happened so it does not occur again and make sure that you are also looked after for any inconvenience caused to you. I have also spoken to all relevant members of staff to ensure that the lack of customer service does not occur again.
