I found Berns & Co to be very honest and upfront during my interaction with them. They offered a place near King's Cross at a very reasonable rate, which initially made me a little suspicious. I had contacted other agencies earlier through Zoopla, but they never seemed to have the deals they advertised and always wanted to switch me to something more expensive and less acceptable. Jon from Berns however was entirely honest and gave exactly what he had advertised.

I have been living at the new place for a week. I have not found any unpleasant surprises thus far. In fact, the room was cleaned up further after I put in my deposit but before I moved in. That kind of integrity goes a long way in my book.
Comment on agent fees
Fee is slightly higher than the average quote (‚£185 for ‚£800/mo flat), but because of the high level of integrity and the fairness of the rental price, I don't mind at all.
