Such a positive experience. All the preliminary stuff - viewing, admin, etc. was really smoothly handled, absolutely no issues.

When it came to the actual move in date, Shaun came in on his day off (missing a music festival) so he could check me in properly, show me around. Gave me really helpful and honest advice - I didn't feel like he had any "angle". Such a lovely company. They're not actually in charge of managing my tenancy (it was just the letting), so I don't think I'll have any further dealings with them - but the experiences I did have were great.

The only couple of bumps I had related to the inventory - the initial draft said the apartment had been professionally cleaned, when it had not. I also had to chase them up a little to get my copy of the completed inventory returned to me. But these are only minor oversights - overall, was really impressed with them.
Comment on agent fees
I think for the service provided, the fees were very reasonable. (I think all agency fees are far too high, but that's a different story!) Compared to my experiences in the past, I think Phoenix offered really good value for money.

Dear Hannah, I am very sorry to read that you feel that we have not been helpful in the return of your deposit, however, I would have thought that having explained to you the return process seeing as you had lost your deposit ID and then having actioned this on your behalf twice, so that the DPS sent you the ID by text to your mobile number which you confirmed, you would have then been able to deal with this on your own.
