We were meant to move in on the Saturday. They sent us the agreements on the Friday evening. They expected us to agree to a mandatory 2%-6% rent increase if we remained in the property after 12 months. Their tenancy agreement stated that we would have to sign up to Sparks Energy for some strange reason. Also their agreements stated that we had to pay an admin fee of approx.

They tried to move our moving in date 4 times in 3 days leading up to the date we were supposed to pick up the keys. We were moving from the Midlands to Manchester and even as we sat in the office waiting on the keys we were told we couldn't move in as we did not have the correct information with us. We requested the information numerous times in the 6 weeks leading up to the date of moving and STILL were not given the correct details!
The first time we saw the contracts was sitting in the office on the day we moved up and went to collect the keys. I requested these again NUMEROUS times in the 6 weeks leading up to our move. The staff lied to cover their own failings and when challenged became rude and aggressive. Our official complaint to the Head Office apparently did not even warrant a response. Total shower of incompetent idiots.
