We had many issues while using Jordan's, A few examples (of the many) would be the broken heaters, cookers and smoke alarms. All of which are necessities within the home. The time that they took to deal with any of these issues was laughably slow, their ability to keep us updated on the jobs was nonexistent and the way in which they actually spoke to myself & housemate was, simply, rude.

As pointed out below by several other people, the way in which they deal with the end of tenancy/deposits is terrible and my particular irritant. The apartment which we rented was very old (around the 100 year mark) and not at all the ¢â‚¬Ëœpristine show home' that they suggest in the inventory. The point I am making is that there was a certain amount of wear and tear that could only occur from years of usage and not in the 12 months we rented. Before leaving we spent 2 days cleaning the property thoroughly, it was cleaner leaving than when we moved in. This however did not stop them from listing such things as - Dust - as causes for taking £140 from our deposit for a professional clean.

When I received the evaluation on the property from checkout I was that disgusted that I insisted that they show me the areas that ¢â‚¬Ëœfell below standard'. They did, and one particular laughable moment was that of the ¢â‚¬ËœFood waste' they had advised on, this turned out to be one half of a pistachio nut shell....and that isn't a joke. Must have been a particular dirty shell to warrant the £140....

I am however not naive and understand that they do have a rather large amount of houses/flats etc on their books. If you had no other choice but to use this company then I would strongly suggest that when the inventory is being carried out, you note down every minute detail. Even if it seems ridiculous at the time to be writing down that you found one hair, a tiny crack or in my case half a pistachio nut shell, Because believe me Jordan's will use anything they can find to squeeze that last little bit of money from you.

In a nut shell, I would implore you to never use this company. Absolutely dreadful.
