I have had a extremely bad experience with One Stop Properties Letting Agency.
they are simply sitting to rob people. They will not return any amount from the deposit that you have given them. I am beginning to believe that their main income from the tenant is the deposit amount.
1) They are very costly.
2) They are good to speak to when you go to them initially and once you move in they wont bother if you have any problems in the apartment.
3) They wont return you any deposit.
4) The agreement that they make also misses many things. This is hard to notice. And on the basis of this they will take the entire amount from the safedepositscotland by providing fake bills.
Existing tenants with One Stop Properties. Please make a sign out report when you move out of the property as you are bound to have a dispute with them when you claim your money from the safe deposit scotland.
What agent could do to change your mind?
1) They should not disapprove of he tenant moving out of the property.
2) Stop cheating the tenants out of their deposit amount.

Yes
The tenant left the flat in a most unacceptable state of cleanliness when he left. The flat needed painted, a thorough and deep clean and the blinds were so filthy that they required replacing. The flat was in a very good and clean condition when the tenant moved in.
We do not hold the tenant’s deposit. It is held by a Scottish Government approved Tenancy Deposit Scheme.
We did apply to the relevant Scottish Tenancy Deposit Scheme for the whole deposit to cover all these costs. If the tenant disagrees with our findings then he is perfectly entitled to raise a dispute with the TDS and they will adjudicate the case (which in fact the tenant did). It is the TDS which will decide whether the costs we have claimed are justified and to support our case we are required to provide full evidence of the condition of the property at move-in and at vacation. These people are very skilled at examining the evidence and understanding the costs involved. It would be very foolish of us to provide the TDS with “fake bills†as the TDS adjudicators would see through this very quickly.
Safedeposits Scotland reviewed the case and found in our favour and the whole of this tenant’s deposit was returned to 1 Stop Properties to cover the costs for the appalling mess that this tenant left behind.
The tenant was awarded NOTHING!
We do not make money from tenant’s deposits. We only recover justifiable costs. The TDS were introduced to prevent exactly what this tenant is incorrectly claiming we are doing.
I feel that it is important that our side of this story is understood the tenant’s version of events is completely inaccurate.
He is obviously very upset that he has lost his deposit but he should have taken far more care of the property for the 17 months he was there.
