This complaint isn't specifically directed at their New Cross office but includes them (for accepting unsuitable tenants). I recently let my property and when I realized the tenants were sub-letting, I was confronted with the most diabolical display of trying to shift the blame on anyone else (within Your Move and their contractors) except take responsibility for the fact that the "routine visit" failed to notice the sub letting. I could overlook this as I know the house well to know when something is wrong, yet I experienced rudeness from all of their different departments, all of which conveniently have no accountability for a failure of service. The way I was treated, you would think that it was my fault there was sub-letting - I had a full management service. I would never use any branch of Your Move, nearly all staff are rude with a culture of blaming someone else and a different department for everything which only works to hide poor services and deny responsibility. Sub-letting is a breach of contract, it isn't a breach I wanted to ignore, unlike Your Move.
What agent could do to change your mind?
they could have accepted the sub-letting, taken a different approach and admitted the routine visit didn't pick up on it. As a landlord, I am not out to pick holes but I do want my property protected and I don't accept any of their defenses. The responses I received were childish and rude. we all make mistakes, the best thing to do is own up to them.
I don't want agent feedback, I have tried complaining, I've had enough of them! I don't know where you select NO THANKS!!

I have recently taken over as Lettings Manager in the New Cross branch and I would like to address this situation and you having received a bad service from previous employees at Your Move,
I would also like to take this opportunity to let you know that although I am unaware of the full comings and going of this situation I strongly agree that this is not the way a company should operate and if you have been treated badly I would like to apologies on behalf of the New Cross branch and Your Move as a whole.
