Worst letting agent I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. A plethora of problems, none of which The Letting Game did anything about. Expect dodgy electrics, leaky ceilings, overcharging for things out of deposit, rats, tiles falling from walls, and a general lazy attitude toward helping out their tenants. Not recommended, they will provide the bare minimum and take you for all you've got. Basically con-artists. The landlord unwilling to spend money on the property, regardless of the danger/necessity of the situations. The worst house I've lived in, provided by a terrible landlord, and a letting agency which care only for money.
What agent could do to change your mind?

We are surprised to read this review given we heard no complaints or had any direct contact from you regarding these comments. It is disappointing to read these serious untruths.
We always acted professionally, as a third party between you and the landlord, and maintenance issues were taken care of when required and when agreed by the landlord. Our records show no history of ‘dodgy’ electrics or leaking ceilings. These are serious issues that we would react to immediately as a matter of course. Further to this, there wasn’t a rat problem prior to you moving in.
The deposit is protected with MyDeposits. As you have been advised, under the scheme rules any deductions for rent arrears and damage to the property can disputed and adjudicated through them. Accusations that we are ‘over changing’ can also be dealt with by an independent adjudicator who will have access to your rent records, the inventory and invoices from contractors.
