We recently bought a repossessed property. In addition to the local estate estate agent we had to deal with Move With Us.
Initially they persuaded us to use one of their bank of solicitors to do the conveyancing as they were used to dealing with quick deals. We agreed although the quote we were given was £100 more than a local solicitor. We were advised that we should complete within 28 days. We were asked to pay £300 immediately.
Once we had the money in place we had to chase the solicitor to get contracts exchanged. We were advised that the 28 days only started once the solicitor received the contract from the vendor\'s solicitor which resulted in exchange after about 42 days.
Prior to completion we received a fees statement which we queried as there was a charge for Move With Us. We were advised that we did not need to pay this. On the day of completion we were asked to pay the full bill including the additional charge for Move With Us. This was £300 more then the original quote.
We now feel as though we were misled from the initial contact with Move With Us. Although we tried to establish the need for all the charges from Move With Us we never got a clear reason.
Buyer beware of charges!!!

Given clear indication of charges up front and clear indication of expected dates
