Where to start with this awful agent. A firm is only as good as their worst employee, and for Symonds and Sampson, it is their Partner and Head of Lettings who gains that title.
If you're a member of staff, be aware that your private appraisals with her may get gossiped around the office and leaked outside of the firm. It has happened already and has been reported to the ICO as a GDPR breach.
Huge amount of GDPR breaches have been reported to the ICO from her department, leading to the ICO instructing S&S to carry out further training. It has also lead to a formal warning from Propertymark.
The firm along with the complaints manager in Dorchester and Bridport seems to have no issue with staff carrying out these and other appaling acts.
They have full knowledge of staff fornicating with eachother and contractors in the office and in clients properties on a huge amount of occasions.
When this adult behaviour was highlighted, the complaints managers response was that these acts on this occasion were not deemed enough for a staff member to lose their job. Green light for staff to use the office and rental properties for their seedy antics, resulting in a slap on the wrist! The CHARITY of Williams Williams should be aware it was in one of their properties plus other clients houses.
The head of lettings is happy to stop a tenant having a property due to the fact he was FAT. This has lead to the Property Redress Scheme issuing a financial penalty and other governing bodies are in the process of investigating......this is due to potential discrimination.
Her own staff are not impressed with her as you can read. Leading to one staff member being asked to leave the firm for exposing the appaling way she selects tenants......luckily for all potential tenants she is still at the firm to potentially discriminate against you! How many she has already potentially discriminated against is unknown!
The complaints manager again found no case to answer....this seems to be his go to complaints response.
There was a case to answer and the firm will face the consequences of the head of lettings appaling actions with further investigations.
No wonder they have changed their complaints procedure to allow the complaints manager to farm the complaints to other partners, he must be getting fed up with having to take the flack for his Partners unprofessionalism!
If you do dare to complain, don't worry, the partners will happily make snide and nasty, unprofessional comments between themselves over email. Feel free to make a Subject Acess Request and see for yourselves the way you are talked about in a derogatory manor. Once again this lead to the Property Redress Scheme forcing the firm to issue a written apology.
The head if Lettings has allowed staff to use the office on nights out as a base for their antics and happily gossips about other staff members personal affairs and her own private life.
These so called professionals are an embarrassment to the industry. Luckily for the lettings side of the business the standards are set so low by the head of lettings, that it won't be a hard act to follow for the rest of the lettings teams across the branches.
Avoid this totally unprofessional firm at all costs, looks good on the outside, but behind the scenes a very worrying outfit of confidentiality breaches, unprofessionalism and embarrassing behaviour.
Even their own managing partner admits "Shoddy behaviour" within the firm......it says it all.....
