I cannot put in to words how appalling the service and process has been using DC Law. I have now been in the process of buying a new build flat since 24th August 2018.
The first Conveyancing "specialist" was completely useless and after finding out he had changed teams, not told anyone about my file or handed it over to anyone, discovered there were 19 outstanding important steps that hadn't been started after telling me I had officially exchanged. I hadn't exchanged, was nowhere near exchanging let alone completing.
on to Conveyancing specialist number 2. I still haven't exchanged and I am extremely distressed, disappointed and angry. I have been told if I want the funds available sooner i must pay £25 + £150(+VAT) which is disgusting. If it had been processed correctly from the beginning I wouldn't be asking for it to be sorted quickly.
I have friends who put in an offer in the same building as I have a month after I did and they moved in on the 31st October via a different solicitor.
If you want the worst possible service, most stressful experience and to live on a friends sofa out of boxes go ahead and use them.If you want things handled professionally and done correctly then do not even waste your time with DC Law.
The "fixed price" is also a joke. You seem to have to pay extra for everything. To be expected to pay £1500 for this service is abhorrent.
I couldn't recommend them any less if I tried. I wish there was a 0 star button.
DO NOT USE DC LAW!!!
