Twice in a row this agent from Foxtons has entered into my flat without my prior consent or discussing with me if it's convenient. They have reminded me more than I care to remember, on several occasions, that if they give a minimum of 24 hours notice, they can enter the premises with their viewers (my lease is ending end October).
I feel really sick and unsafe about this whole situation. I'm not on good terms with Foxtons as they rented a place out to me that since day one only had problems (one month no hot water and electricity, the electricity wiring that almost burned the whole place down, chimney smoke of neighbours coming into the flat which is still not solved, leaking hood everything it rains, also still not solved, more leakages in bathroom, water pressure issue and tank that is still water from the neighbours who can't stop complaining about it etc. etc.). And now the landlord is looking to give somebody else the problems of the flat, so he is selling it. Although he hates Foxtons, he told me that if there is a company that can sell a faulty flat, then it's them, as they sold him this flat.
Is this a normal way of dealings of agencies here in the UK. I really feel unsafe to sleep now. I even had a dream that somebody broke into the flat. Should I be sleeping with a baseball bat next to my bed? Or is this pure harassment to get me out?
What agent could do to change your mind?
Change their practice.

Comment on agent fees
I paid almost 500 pounds for a 1 minute viewing, and 10 minutes of signing the lease agreement.
