Firstly I am sorry to hear via a review site that you were unhappy with the service you received from us. We work with hundreds of landlords each year and although we offer every landlord the option to use our tenancy agreement and guarantor agreements free of charge, we cannot insist upon this.
In my opinion, I do happen to agree that in this case the landlord’s own agreement is not drafted as well as our own guarantor agreement, however at the point where you were sent a copy of the agreement, you were not obliged to continue if you were unhappy with the drafting of the document.
As the landlord’s agent, we have to respect the landlord’s wishes and instructions providing that they are acting within the law. In the case we did exactly that.
We have a long list of happy clients, both landlord and tenants, and make a genuine and deliberate effort to deliver an excellent customer experience. I am sorry that due to the landlord’s paperwork you have felt the need to post a negative review about Beresford Residential, however if your daughter does chose to rent via us in the future please do contact us to discuss any issues you have at the time and we will do our best to resolve any matters for you.
Best Regards
Craig
