Our experience with the RSK Northfields office has been a horrific one. They were dishonest with us from the beginning of the tenancy and seem to lack general knowledge on how to communicate with their clients.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to surrender our tenancy early. Our landlord was okay with this and the agency seemed to have no issues communicating with us when they had to be paid to get the search for new tenants going.

Our Landlord informed them in writing and over the phone that we are to be released from our tenancy agreement on 31/07/21.

We struggled for over 3 weeks to get our deposit back from the agency despite the fact that our landlord told them in writing that it can returned to us in full.

In addition to the above, they still had the nerve to illegally charge us rent for 01/08/21 and a team member had no problem lying to me over the phone claiming that the agency was never notified of the end of tenancy date by our landlord.

We were told various stories as to why we hadn’t received our deposit yet from us first needing the checkout inventory (which we still don’t have) to procedure changes taking place that were apparently causing the delays.

Out the the 10 or so emails I sent over the past 2-3 weeks they responded to two and it was clear that they couldn’t be bothered about the fact that they had passed the legal date to hold our deposit.

We did eventually get our deposit and the extra days rent back.

I understand that we are all only human and that mistakes happen but something can only keep going wrong for so long.

The least the agency could of done was had the decency to communicate with myself and my landlord clearly. A phone call here and there isn’t enough. Emails should be responded to in a swift manner and not be ignored.

The lack of transparency and communication both within the company and with its clients is appalling.

They are by far the most unprofessional realtors I have ever dealt with and I would not recommend them.
