I am a landlord and have been with dialahome for just over 5 years now, they offered a tailormade service to suit my needs and had that personal touch which I've never had before with other agencies. Good afternoon Jeff, Sorry to hear how you feel about the level of service received from dial a home however, unfortunately you did not meet current rental criteria including landlord reference and currently not in employment. It is therefore standard procedure to request additional security e.g. advance rent. As members of SAL (Scottish association of landlords) I can confirm that this is not illegal for letting agents / landlords to ask for this as long as it is reflected on your lease - which ...
