We chose to use Sinnott Green to sell our house as we were very impressed with the confidence and professionalism they showed when valuing our home and felt that despite paying a slightly higher for their service it would be worth it, how wrong we were!
From the moment we signed the contract things changed we managed to sell our house for full asking price and very quickly, what we found out a week later after finding and falling in love with our dream family home is that our buyers had no means in which to buy the house! It therefore had to go back up for sale (although this meant nothing as they were too lazy to actually take it off right move in the first place). But they were very quick to use our house as free advertisment for themselves despite the no sale, image my surprise when a flyer came through my door with my house on the front with SOLD written over it and it wasn\'t.
Eventually, after much pushing on our part to get Sinnotts to get seconds viewings arranged with people who were apparently very interested we got 2 offers, of which were much lower than we had been expecting and it felt like us having to come up with the negation talk to improve the offers, we still had to accept a much lower price in order not to lose our dream house. Then throughout the actual sale process Sinnotts did not phone once to give us an update on progress, we had to either talk directly to our solicitors and when we phoned Sinnotts they seemed distracted and didn\'t have time to talk to us. They didn\'t even manage to phone us to inform us that we had exchanged instead we received a letter on moving day to let us know! Even on the moving day they had informed us that we had completed and so they were able to give our keys to the buyers when in fact we were still waiting for their money and hadn\'t completed!
The list of failures and disappointments is endless and I probably go on but overall I was VERY disappointed and the only recommendation I would make to my family and friends would be not to use them.
