Disgusting Customer Service!
My partner and I took a day off work to travel from Leeds to Manchester to view a property with Bridgfords. We were due to meet Dale at the property at 1:30pm. At 1:28pm I had two missed calls from Dale, despite my partner and I arriving at the property at 1:30pm sharp Dale seemed to extremely put out and told me that 'I should of answered my phone because he was about to drive off'. We received neither a hand shake nor a smile. I explained to Dale that I didn't hear my phone and I had called his office that morning to confirm we still attending. Dale continued to be an arrogant so-and-so throughout the entire viewing, the flat was in a bad state, had damp up the wall and smelt of mold. Most of the furniture was broken and the carpets were filthy. When we asked if these issues would be rectified Dale repsonded only with scoffs and that the property wasn't for us as the landlord wanted somebody in asap. He then advised us to check the availability date on the site before making a viewing, despite this being no where on their website. When my partner called later that day to complain about Dales behaviour and to speak to a manager, he received a phone call from Dale himself a few minutes later. Dale failed to apologise for his lack of customer service or take any responsibility. The service was absolutely appalling and I would never rent nor recommend Bridgfords to anybody.
