If I could put minus stars I would honestly do it. Given them a 1 star is already very generous. And I fully agree with all the bad comments I have read below.
The agency fees WHICH ARE RIDICULOUS. We paid a fortune when I say a fortune this is more than 500 pounds just to have a credit check, ref check, inventory etc. Later on, we have noticed that the other estate agencies were charging way less, max 300 pounds, sometimes, even less.
And this price is NOT justified as when you need to get in touch with them there is NO ONE. They only reply when they can have an interest on it. Like renewal or when they need money.
When we moved it, the flat was clean except some areas like the oven and stuff. They could not tell us what was our parking area, and they wanted to charge us the second key (knowing that we are a couple and our both names were on the lease). My husband called them to complain ! THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ANOTHER KEY !!!! HONESTLY !!!! they knew we were moving together and obviously one key is not enough !
Anyway, THEN one day we have received a letter saying that we have one rent missing. Which was not true !!! after weeks trying to figure out what happened, bridgfords noticed they had made a mistake, they had refunded us some money, and then ask us to pay back. They made mistakes in the first invoice when we moved and they blamed us. We had to provide all the proof of payments (that was ok for us as we had nothing to hide; we had paid every single rent on time). Then to apologize and because they were asking for A LOT OF MONEY even though that was their fault, they did a little gesture. But still was not enough. We were always worried with this problem, always thinking about it. We did receive I don't know how many phone calls to say that we were not paying the rent. This is very hard to be blamed for something you haven't done.
Now we have decided not to renew with them, especially that they charge 125 pounds just to re-conduct a contract.
The check out:
We have sent 5 emails regarding the check out without any reply. When you say to them "we will vacate the property" even though you are still living there, they will ignore you more than they used to do it.
They don't tell you how to get the deposit, they charge you for the checkout (even if this is not written in the contract), they charge you if you are not present at the checkout inventory, they ask you to pay for a professional cleaning and receipt of a professional cleaner even if on the contract this is not indicated. They are thieves.
They will charge you for EVERYTHING, be really careful. I would honestly not recommend to anyone, even to my worst enemy this agency. If you need something they don't reply. You have to chase and chase and chase to obtain something. I have friends with them as well, and they always complain about the poor service they receive.

You need to yell to obtain something. If I could give you the email we received from the managers and how unprofessional they are, you will understand why you need to avoid this company. They just make your renting a leaving nightmare.
All the managers as Paul, Katie, and Matthew are completely useless.
