I was recently involved in the purchase of a bungalow through Sinnott Green and it was not what you'd call a normal 'chain' ...!!!
I had sold a large three storey town house in Brighton privately on behalf of an elderly couple who needed to downsize for health reasons.......now, while there is an obvious advantage to a private sale ( no agents fees ! ) there are also many pitfalls such as lack of information from our buyers, being unable to communicate with their solicitor, being 'in the dark' about the finances .....the list goes on......
This is where Frank came in ... basically I felt he treated my sale as if it were one of his own...he took control of our buyers and their solicitor and pushed all parties... he kept me up to date with regular feedback and left informative messages if I didn't pick up. This level of communication is a vital component of the service you need from your agent...and I got it in spades ... the sale and purchase completed 17th July and although I saved some money selling privately I don't think I will do that again.... it's best to use the professionals and Frank and the team at Portslade certainly deliver on that front...an excellent local independent agent who I thoroughly recommend ... thanks a million guys, this was a lot of stress for me because although the properties were not mine, I have enormous responsibility for two elderly people and I'm now safe in the knowledge they can see out their twilight years in comfort and happiness.
Apparently there is no such thing as 110%, but I don't care - you boys get it !!
