AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Firstly, I think anyone reading this should consider the sporadic 5 star to 1 star reviews, the former which were probably written by the agency themselves. Secondly, do not believe any promises they make to "renovate" their disgusting houses
After putting our deposit down for the house, we were told that we couldn't move in due to repairs and renovation (which was supposed to include a new kitchen, and carpets around the house). We moved in a few weeks before our first semester back at uni, but when we arrived we found that nothing whatsoever had been repaired in the house, meaning that we had no fridge, carpets (splintered and broken floorboards only), fire alarms, or oven door. Over the first month they slowly began to fix things, although the kitchen floor had air bubbles in it and the drawers didn't work still by the end, there was also never any hot water in the kitchen, but no matter how many times you call them, they can hang up on you just as many times. These are despicable and take advantage of naive students who don't quite know how to best rent a property.

Hi Julia,
Aside from the fact that everybody you can speak to outside your industry agrees that asking someone to pay for one months rent when you don't live at the property is morally wrong, therefore this agreement should have always happened. To be honest, I didn't see the point in making a complaint. I made so many complaints when I was living there, but nothing got sorted, what's the point in making a complaint now?
