This was the first time that i have used Easylet as a letting agent. The whole process was as smooth as possible from my point of view. I was given various paperwork to read regarding services and fees etc (which i must say were competitive within the Worthing area) before any monies changed hands. I am extremely with pleased with the service i have received and would not hesitate to recommend Easylet as prospective Letting Agents....

Easylet came with a lot of good promises and seemed like an estate agent that would be very hands on and get involved if any problems occurred. In reality, this was not the case - it was very hard to get their attention when problems occurred and when they were addressing these problems, it was only ever convienient to Easylet and not mutually. You have not advised who you are and you have not made a complaint to Easylet. I do not feel this is a genuine review! We do supply a very detailed itemised breakdown of all our costs right from the very start so I cannot understand your point at all. Please urgently contact the Directors to discuss your issues. We are not an estate agent, we are 100% residential lettings.....

DO NOT TOUCH THIS AGENT!!!!! As professionals we have been treated with complete disrespect from start to finish. They have caused us as a couple, along with our two children, undue stress, inconvenience, aggravation and financial loss by their lack of professionalism and 'misrepresentation' of the facts. As we speak, we have now reported their inappropriate code of practice and conduct to the Estate Agents Ombudsmen. Save yourselves the distress and choose a more creditible agent....

Please urgently contact The Directors - we have no record of doing business with you and I do not understand your complaint? We are not estate agents we are lettings agents. I do not understand how you could have incurred financial loss with us if we do not have a record of you? I am very concerned this is not a legitimate and genuine complaint? If you have complained to the Property Ombudsman you should please be aware that in the first instance you should make a formal complaint to my company ....

It's a real shame that Easylet do not live up to their name of 'easy'. Having rented for a few years now, I believe that this has been my worst experience of a letting agent to date. From initially having to constantly chase up staff, to terrible and rude customer service and condescending letters. I have been greatly upset by the service received - anything seems to be too much trouble for Easylet. I won't be using them again....

Having spoken to some of the landlords, I understand that they are frequently encouraged to raise the rent of the property. Although I do understand that this is a business - this does present the potential to make the property less affordable for people.

You mention having spoken to some of the landlords? I do not see how you would have access to our landlord client information? We are a letting agency acting on behalf of our landlord clients and it is our duty of care to ensure rents remain at the correct market level but we can only take instructions from our clien....

Had an horrible experience with them.we payed an holding deposit for a flat and 2 weeks later they said for no reason our garantor failed the check and refused to pay our money back.do not trust them as they try to take 300£ of you without providing you with the property just making up excuses to keep the money for the holding deposit...

What agent could do to change your mind?
She could have told us that we won t be able to get our money back,and didn't make sure the document s provided are enough was only trying to get our money she never trying to help us at all.

Please bear in mind that when you pay your advance holding payment of £300 you are given a very detailed 4 page form to read and complete which fully explains all aspects of the referencing and finances - prior to you placing any money with Easylet.....

I recently rented a property via Easylet. They kept me fully informed throughout the referencing process and I was pleased with the professional service given to me and my partner. The property was cleaned as I requested and I was happy to move into my new home last weekend....

I really shopped around locally and Easylets fees were in the middle. They were the only agent that gave me all the information in writing, prior to paying a penny.

I have three properties with Easylet that are fully managed. My tenants appear to be very happy too as they have all been in the relevant property for between 5 - 10 years. Any maintenance problems are dealt with promptly and efficiently. I am also asked/reminded each year with regard to an increase in rent. Would definately recommend....

terrible service, they take holding fee off more than one client and this is not legal, they return the money after few days and thats only after you chase them up everday. so you don't have access to your money. plus they are rude and unfaithful agent...

I have registered looking for property and Easylet was the only agents that called me weekly with updates. Also, I received an email allert everytime a new property come onto the market which gave me the heads up. I found them helpful, polite and easy to deal with. Of course the rent and deposit costs were high to move, but in line with all the other agents in Worthing. Found a nice home, no hassel and I hope to stay for a few years. Thanks Easylet...

Absolutely awful customer service skills from all of the women working at easy let, very rude and made me feel VERY uncomfortable!! Nothing was done quickly, and the company the use to \'fix\' problems (in the homes which they let to people) are nothing but rude as well! I would not recommend anyone to use this company, stay away!! It took them 2 weeks to get painting work done before we moved into our home. They said we could move in on one date but kept putting it off! We lost a lot of money a...

Be very cautious they will find any excuse not to give you your deposit back - the safe deposit scheme they run is not worth anything. (Made up damage done, but in addition provided inflated quote for fixing this fictitious problem.)...

I am sorry that I have only just seen this comment and we have no record of a complaint at the time from you - Easylet pays all deposits to the government custodial scheme The Deposit Protection Service therefore I completely disagree with your comment above. Also please bear in mind that Easylet does not get your deposit money, it is either paid back to you, or the landlord in agreed compensation or to the contractor direct. We have no interest in inflating costs.....
