£3000 seems a lot of money but I do believe you get what you pay for. Given that the plot was on the market for almost 7 months the amount balanced out over this period does seem unreasonable

McEwan Fraser Legal were the most expensive of the agents we looked at, but the only ones to offer the later opening hours which we felt helped our sale so this made it worth it. With high numbers of staff, you don't feel you are competing with other sales for their time and effort
