What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent could have been more upfront about the flat and less pushy about getting us to agree to an offer and a subsequent deposit. We felt that we were also not given the standard 6 month out clause as all of the other tenancy agreements we have come across have been given. Also, they could not have been more unhelpful in advising us on the issue we are having with smoke in our flat. It is completely unacceptable that we are paying over ‚£1400 for a flat that fills with smoke.

Jay, Your response is confusing because the facts you list are simply not accurate. We did make an offer of 320 p/w, but this is the first we've ever heard of a counter offer for 330 p/w. That conversation must have happened in the background and we were not a part of it. Next thing we knew 325 p/w had been agreed and our card run. The very first time we ever laid eyes on the flat it was completely empty. There were no tenants living there, there were no belongings. And there was never a ...
