I would strongly discourage prospective tenants from using this lettings agent. Firstly they were happy to let a property where the bathroom had a ceiling that was thick black with mould. The place was full of moth balls which stunk the place out royally. I never actually got the smell out of the flat in the whole 12 months I was there. There was no silicone sealant around the bath and the tiles so the walls got so damp that the tiles actually fell off the wall in places. I sorted this all out myself.

I would not recommend renting through Jacksons estate agent in Balham. Emails went unanswered most of the time and calls were rarely returned. This agency is owned by Zak and his brother Maj. It is a family business and therefore their practices are not internally regulated or monitored. Maj and Zak are the 2 people that work in this agency. Occasionally they ask their dad and one of their cousins to come along and help with picking up the office phone. They are con artists so be extra cautious.
