Please refer to prior reviews under Sargent & Young, the previous trading name for this agent. Similar to the other tenants\' reviews, I had a miserable experience as a tenant of one of their managed properties and would caution other prospective tenants -- communications were only responded to when it suited Boileaus, and requests for repairs were responded to very slowly and done very cheaply. The attitude of the staff is very rude and condescending, and getting hold of anyone in the office who can address an issue in a timely manner was always a challenge.
In summary, this is not the experience one wants to have as a professional, hardworking tenant who pays rent on time, treats a property as his own and expects professionalism from a managing agent. If I were a landlord I would also be wary as repairs done to a property under Boileaus\' watch are unlikely to be done well.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Respond to tenants\' queries faster and more professionally; ensure that repairs to properties are done in a timely manner and to a decent standard, rather than slowly and to a minimum standard.
